Description
This is a 63mm x 2mm thick stormproof hinge in 316 marine grade stainless steel. The hinge has a plain knuckle, square corners and a staggered hole pattern. Stormproof hinges are most commonly used on side hung timber windows where the sash closes over the frame which requires a cranked 90 degree hinge. They pivot the casement away from the frame due to the rebate that would otherwise bind to the frame.
