Coverage: 1L covers approx 24m² per coat. 2 coats when used as a stand alone finish is blocking the greying process by UV-Protection factor 12 in comparison to untreated wood.
Number of coats: maximum 2 coats on raw wood, 1 coat for renovation applied to a clean and dry surface. 1 coat when used as a final finish after staining the wood prolonging the renovation time significantly.
Drying time: approx. 12 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23°C /50%, normal humidity). Lower temperatures and/or high humidity can increase the drying time.
Description
UV Protection Oil is a natural oil based and microporous finish does not crack, flake, peel or blister.
Product based on natural oil: Osmo UV-Protection-Oil is based on natural vegetable oils. Natural oils penetrate deeply into the wood, keeping it elastic and healthy, and preventing it from drying and becoming brittle.
The wood is allowed to breathe. Moisture can evaporate. Shrinking and swelling are reduced.
